Directions for UseSurface preparation and Substrate condition. For Immersion Condition Steel, blast cleaned to ISO Sa 2.5 Steel with approved shop primer, sweep blasted to SPSS-Ss or power tool cleaned to SPSS-Pt 3. Existing sound epoxy coating sufficiently roughened and free from any contamination. For atmosphere exposure condition New hot–rolled steel: Blast cleaned to min ISO Sa 2. Weathered Steel: Power tool cleaned to ISO St 3 or hand tool cleaned to ISO St 2. Existing sound epoxy coating system and most sound alkyd coating system: sufficiently roughened, dried and cleaned. High pressure water cleaning or water washing and scrubbing remove loose paint and contamination. Intact areas to be roughened. Damaged and rusty areas to be deducted to min. ISO ST 2 by hand tool cleaning. Stir the base and hardener separately. If settling is observed in the base or hardener, loosen the settled material with the help of hand stirrer followed by power driven stirrer for quick homogenous mixing. Then combine and mix as follows:
Special InstructionsApplications of two coats of this product is mandatory. Two coat application elevates the performance of the product considerably. Limitations Product is not recommended for immersion service in acids, alkalies or solvents. Storage & PackingStorage: Store in a cool dry place. Store in accordance with local regulations. Packing: 20 ltrs. Safety InformationAs a general safety measure, inhalation of solvent vapours or paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin & eyes should be avoided. Forced ventilation should be provided when applying paint in confined places or stagnant air. Even when ventilation is provided, respiratory, skin and eye protection are recommended when spraying paint. Please refer our Material Safety Data Sheet prior to using the product.
